Robbery at North Norfolk Post Office

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a post office in Mundesley this morning (Friday 9 March).

A man with his face covered entered the post office on High Street shortly before 6am and threatened staff with an unknown small object wrapped in what’s believed to be a black bin-bag before making off with a small quantity of cash.

Two staff members suffered minor injuries during the incident.

The offender is described as being white, approximately 6ft tall and medium to stocky build.

He was wearing a blue hoody with a blue shiny jacket over the hoody, dark jogging style trousers and white trainers.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the robbery.

They are particularly appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage which may have captured the suspect to come forward.

Anyone with information should call Great Yarmouth CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
