The local Business Improvement District (BID) is launching the new light festival today, 13th February.

They said the city centre will be transformed into a "captivating trail of discovery" which is accessible to all.

Running until Saturday 15th February, Love Light Norwich will celebrate art and innovation with the theme of love and belonging through a trail of light and fire artworks, installations and performances.

Organisers says the event will generate pride across the city, while attracting visitors and residents to see how "mesmerising" the city can be at night.

The city's market will also be extending their opening hours to 9pm for the first night.
