Norfolk County Council's appealing for donations to help support a Syrian refugee resettlement programme.
The local authority's asking for items of furniture or other general things you'd expect to have in your home, as it supports a project being led by the Government.
Officials need to prepare properties for new arrivals, so they're looking for any unneeded furniture.
Large items such as sofas, chests of drawers, bed frames or other items of household furniture can be collected from the homes of those who make them available.
Norfolk County Council is also looking to rent available properties for the refugee arrivals, as part of an initiative run in partnership with Norwich City Council’s LetNCC scheme.
Norfolk County Council Leader Cllr Andrew Proctor said:
“The Syrian refugees have been through so much hardship and with Home Office funding we are proud to support them as best we can.
“We want to ensure they get a new opportunity to rebuild their lives in Norfolk.”
