Local news is produced in-house and is, in the main, made up of local items but also incorporates the main national/international stories at the time.

Automated Programming
North Norfolk Radio endeavors to provide as much live programming as possible. Most days all of our weekday daytime (6am-7pm) output is live and produced at our studios at Stody in the heart of North Norfolk, however occasionally we automate a maximum of one hour of the daytime output.During the weekday evenings (7pm-midnight) we provide 5 hours of live regional programming, including regional news, and overnight (midnight-6am) we have six hours of automated programming.
Over the weekend our local output is complimented by 9 hours of live regional programming and a maximum of 27 hours automated output, mainly overnight.

Recent Programming Highlights
The song may say four seasons in one day, well here in North Norfolk we’ve certainly had four seasons in the week, from warm days to April showers mainly of snow.Our News team have been incredibly busy, and were first on the scene at a protest last week in Bacton outside the gas terminal, which supplies about a quarter of Britain’s gas. Laura Hampton was the only reporter who got full interviews with the protestors, she was also able to report directly into the Breakfast show as the surprise protest developed.
We also spoke to Macmillan Cancer Support about their Bure Valley Railway Walk, which we are supporting at North Norfolk Radio. Seahenge, an ancient circle of wooden stumps discovered ten years ago on the coast has gone on display to the public for the first time, we’ve been chatting to the organisers.
Joe Brown’s on his 50th Anniversary tour and will be in North Norfolk later this month, we’ve been hearing from him during the week. We’re also continuing to give away pedometers from Active Norfolk as part of the Fit Together project, aiming to promote healthier lifestyles.

Residents of North Norfolk have had their last chance to voice concerns and opinions about gypsy and traveller sites in North Norfolk and the rest of the county.***
The future of North Norfolk's coast still looks uncertain - but we've seen government agency, Natural England, apologise for distressing residents about its suggested plans to flood parts of the county.

How To Complain
Any complaints made are logged immediately with an acknowledgement receipt issued to the complainant within 24 hours. The details are then passed on to the relevant department. We will aim to resolve any complaint within 10 working days. If under any circumstances a solution to the complaint can not be agreed, a further complaint can be made with Ofcom. For advertising complaints, if we can not find a solution, the complaint can be taken up with ASA.
