Emotional support charity Samaritans is urging anyone concerned about financial pressures or job security to get in contact to talk through any problems and fears that they may not be able to share with family, friends or employers.

Samaritans volunteers offer confidential, non-judgemental support to anyone experiencing any kind of emotional distress.


They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bird Watching Courses

The National Trust runs residential birdwatching courses throughout the year at Brancaster Millennium Activity Centre.

Norfolk Laughter Club

The Norfolk Laughter Club, which is laughter through yoga, usually meets on the fourth Saturday of each month at Lammas village Hall.

It's at 11am and you're asked to take a mat or blanket and some water

Free swimming lessons - Sheringham, North Walsham

There are free swimming lessons for complete non-swimmers at the Splash and Victory swimming and fitness centres in Sheringham and North Walsham.

Courses are being offered for people aged 11 or over, during the next few months.

Sculptures exhibition

Fakenham Farmers Market

The Fakenham Farmers Market is held in the town’s market square on the 4th Saturday of the month.

There’ll be a wide selection of fresh seasonal local produce.

The market starts at 8.30am and is on until midday.

Mobile Gym service has just started in Aylsham each Wednesday at the Drill Hall between 1-30-6-30pm

The sessions are very busy and they are currently getting all the inductions done each week

Anyone planning to go along to the sessions will need to book for their first session then after that they can go at anytime between 1.30 to 6.30pm
