Sheringham Baptist Church head to Uganda

This Easter ten people from Sheringham Baptist Church will be travelling out to Uganda to continue the work, alongside a team from a church in Sussex. The principal task this time is to build toilets, improve the classroom, and provide further equipment for the school. They will be working with local builders and using local materials. Over £1000 has already been raised, and efforts are under way to raise more funds before the team departs at the beginning of April.
All money raised will go directly to the project, as the team are funding their own travelling costs. If anyone would like to sponsor Matthew, or just make a donation to the project, please contact treasurer@sheringhambaptistchurch.co.uk

People in Briston and the surrounding area are being given one last chance to contact the Parish Council if they are interested in playing bowls and want the Briston Bowls Club to remain.
Last year the remaining members of Briston Bowls Club decided that they could no longer run the club and handed it over to Briston Parish Council. Despite advertising in the parish magazine and promoting the facility at appropriate events there has been no interest in it.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices Nightrider Cycle Challenge

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is hoping the London 2012 Olympics will encourage athletes and cyclists of all abilities to get active and raise funds for the charity.
EACH has 10 places for both the Nightrider cycle challenge; an exciting 100km moonlit ride past London’s iconic landmarks and the Virgin Active London Triathlon.
The Nightrider which takes place on the 9th and 10th June and will see cyclists setting off while the capital sleeps to follow a 100km circular route past fifty of London’s most famous landmarks including Tower Bridge, a deserted City of London and Trafalgar Square.

Reepham "12 Summer Music Festival " takes place over the weekend of the 11th and 12th August.
As always, the Festival offers something for all the family – and again this year under 15’s can enjoy the fun for free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Admission to the Sunday event is free to Saturday ticket holders.
Those wishing to make a weekend of it can stay at the festival campsite.
